Overview:

Practice and risk management systems

Glenda Carry will examine the 10 objectives of practice management systems, with a particular focus on supervision and the issues arising from remote supervision. She will also discuss the importance of developing awareness about how we spend our time and identify strategies to avoid delay.

Update on ethics
In this session Paul Monaghan will cover ethics and regulatory frame work, Legal Profession Uniform Law, dealing with lawyers, clients and witnesses and media and disclosure/confidentiality.

Amplifying referrals and winning new business
Referrals and the right ‘word of mouth’ from the right type of contacts is the lifeblood of a legal practice. In this session Sue-Ella will discuss proven approaches for asking for recommendations that wont leave you looking desperate or ‘salesy’. She will also share a very simple and effective approach to winning new business from your known network.
